Arnold Newman on Portraiture

by

Just because you didn’t get to go to that awesome photography conference doesn’t mean that you can’t learn something from the pros! Occasionally, we’ll be featuring a recommended photography lecture or interview on Phototuts+.

Arnold Newman was the quintessential editorial portrait photographer on the 20th century. He photographed movie stars, politicians, artists, writers and everyone in between. His use of graphic lines and extensively through out composition make his work instantly recognizable.

An extensive archive of work and a biography of Arnold Newman can be found www.arnoldnewarchive.com.
