Joni Sternbach: Relating to the Ocean

by

Just because you didn’t get to go to that awesome photography conference doesn’t mean that you can’t learn something from the pros! Occasionally, we’ll be featuring a recommended photography lecture on Phototuts+.

This week you'll get a behind-the-scenes look into one of Joni Sternbach's projects. Sternbach is a Brooklyn-based photographer. While she was photographing oceanscapes as part of the Art Park/Atlantic Residency Program in Australia, a singular moment refocused her project and set her on a new path.

Visit Joni Sternbach's website here to see more images from her Surfland project, and learn more about the Art Park/Atlantic Residency Program here.
