by

Just because you didn’t get to go to that awesome photography conference doesn’t mean that you can’t learn something from the pros! Occasionally, we’ll be featuring a recommended photography lecture or interview on Phototuts+.

Photographer An-My Lê was named a MacArthur Fellow last week. The Fellowship is a $500,000, no-strings-attached grant for individuals who have shown exceptional creativity in their work and the promise to do more. Grants are awards in almost every field of study from science to the humanities, they find genius everywhere. This video gives you a look at Lê's work.

Another photographer was awarded a grant this year, her name is Uta Barth. Look her up as well. You can learn all about this year's fellows at www.macfound.org.
