Just because you didn’t get to go to that awesome photography conference doesn’t mean that you can’t learn something from the pros! Occasionally, we’ll be featuring a recommended photography lecture or interview on Phototuts+.
For award-winning documentary photographer and writer Alison Wright, traveling seems to be in her blood. Her mother traveled the world as a flight attendant and now Wright is jet setter herself. George Eastman House and the International Museum of Photography and FIlm bring us a lecture by Wright about her work in Tibet.
Her photographs documenting the Tibetan Buddhist culture and tradition are stunning.
You can learn more about Wright on her website, www.alisonwright.com. You may also have noticed that this is labeled "Part 1." The second part of this series is not about Wright, but about the career of John Isaac. It's also a great lecture, but this video stands on its own.
