Just because you didn’t get to go to that awesome photography conference doesn’t mean that you can’t learn something from the pros! Occasionally, we’ll be featuring a recommended photography lecture or interview on Phototuts+.

Last week, we featured a video about mobile photography, which talked about the ideas of accessibility and motives. Today, you can see a much headier presentation which broaches the topics of voyeurism and convert photography. Edward Tenner talk about the history of "hidden" cameras and what he calls "surreptitious" photography and how that might relate to mobile photography today.

This presentation was given at the Indianapolis Museum of Art. They currently have an exhibition called "Snapshot," which you can learn about at www.imamuseum.org. You can also learn more about Edward Tenner's work on looking at today's modern trends through the eyes of history at edwardtenner.com.
