The so-called Arab Spring ended up lasting a few more season that originally. The uprisings in Egypt, Bahrain and Libya will mean that 2012 is really a new year in these countries. With new leadership, political systems and overarching goal, the region may never be the same.
Photographer John Moore covered the uprisings in Egypt, Bahrain and Libya earlier this year. Moore recorded this interview after sneaking out of Benghazi, Libya en route back to his home in Denver.
