Just because you didn’t get to go to that awesome photography conference doesn’t mean that you can’t learn something from the pros! Occasionally, we’ll be featuring a recommended photography lecture or interview on Phototuts+.
This is a 1973 interview with Philippe Halsman, one of the most talented and prolific portrait photographers of the 20th century. He shot iconic photos of Marilyn Monroe, Audrey Hepburn, Albert Einstein, Salvador Dali and so many more.
And yes, the interviewer is none other than Leonard Nimoy, who we learn is an amateur photographer.
You can see more of Halsman's work at philippehalsman.com. Don't miss the Jumps series.
