Tim Laman has spent eight years in the jungles of New Guinea documenting all 39 species of Birds of Paradise. The birds are only found on the island, and have spectacular adaptations for mating displays and songs. The elusive birds are a good match for Laman, a master tree climber and National Geographic photographer. All of her work is coming together in a new project.
