6.2 Conclusion

Thanks very much for watching this course. In this last lesson, you will learn some final trips and tricks that will help all your voice over recordings sound excellent. Remember that good file organization and back ups are important. This isn't specific to voice recording, but it's just good practice for any multimedia project. I use the cloud and multiple hard drives to backup important projects. And sometimes I will burn files to a DVD as well to make sure I'm covered. As you have seen throughout this course, it's easy to dump a truck load of cash into microphones, interfaces, monitors, headphones and other shiny gadgets. But you really don't need top end gear to make great recordings. What's most important is treating your space and making sure that you are capturing a good performance. High end gear in a poor sounding room will sound terrible no matter what it cost. Using a simple dynamic microphone and a basic audio interface in a super-dead room can sound fantastic. Thanks again for watching this course. I hope the things that you learned will help you to create high quality engaging voice overs. For more great audio courses and tutorials check out some of my other courses on touchplus.com and music.touchplus.com. Again, my name is Dave Body for Touchplus, thanks so much for watching and I'll see you around.
