The best way to carry your light stands is in a dedicated case, but what if a case is a bit of overkill? A fully loaded case can be heavy and bulky. For travelling light, you don't have to use a big case. Instead, fastening your stands and accessories together can make them easy to carry around.
This tutorial shows how to make a simple, cheap, and durable set of straps to fasten your stands together. You'll need some nylon strapping and plastic buckles to complete this project. Both can be found at your local fabric store.
