4.1 Post-Production Stabilization

Once you’re editing your handheld footage, applying a stabilization effect or using a plug-in can help smoothen out some of the jitters. But it can also make your footage look really strange, sometimes worse than leaving the shaky footage alone. Using the built-in stabilizer in Final Cut Pro X, you’ll learn a few tips for when to use the effect and when to avoid it. We’ll also take a quick look at a third-party plugin called “Lock & Load.”
