3.1 Conclusion

In this course we covered essential effects in Avid Media Composer. In this lesson we'll recap our main points.

3.1 Conclusion

In this course we covered the essential video effects for Avid Media Composer. We used the 3D warp effect to change the shape, and the scale, and the rotation of our clips. We used the Paint effect to clone, and draw, and blur and, all sorts of things. We used the enigma effect to create our own custom transitions. We used quick transitions and other transitions available to us in the Effect Palette and we manipulated time with Timewarp and Trim to Fill. Knowing and using these core effects provides you with a strong base for any other video effects needs you will need in Media Composer. Go ahead and jump in Avid Media Composer. Try out these effects. Try out all the other ones. Figure out which ones you like and grow your own essential video effects from there. Good luck and best of editing to you.
